Enrichment Opportunities
We believe in the power of an enriching extracurricular programme to help our students develop holistically. We offer a range of extracurricular activities, including a daily Book Club, after-school clubs, and educational trips and visits.
Friday Enrichment
Every Friday afternoon, the whole school community comes together to take part in enrichment activities. The Enrichment programme plays a key role in achieving our holistic aims of developing self-esteem and a range of interpersonal skills.
Each term, students get to choose their activities that enable them to develop their skills in sport, music, creative arts and life skills such as cooking. Groups often have students from a range of year groups; encouraging the development of friendships across the school.
Student voice has a strong influence on what activities are offered. If students have an interest in an area that is not currently offered, we welcome suggestions and ideas to broaden our provision. In recent years, he following activities have been enjoyed by staff and students:

Book Club
Book Club is scheduled at the same time for the whole school every day and is built into the school day. We want to fire our students' imagination and promote a lifelong love of learning. During Book Club, students get an opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stories in a range of ways. We use audiobooks, group reading, film clips, discussions and storyboards to empower all children to be able to access books.

Lunchtime Clubs
We offer a rich variety of lunchtime activities, including creative and performing arts, board games, IT games and physical activity options. Study rooms are also available for KS4 students.
We also offer a quiet room at lunchtime, for those students who need the space and peace.
